"There is more to being a good Assessor than knowing how to appraise a house.  The role demands leadership, the ability to build systems that make the office run better, working effectively in county government, and knowing how to bring the public into the conversation. Kelly has shown over the last 4 years that he understands the difference between technical skills and what it really takes to run an effective office."
